East Med and Southeast Europe Forum begins in Brussels on Tuesday

Τhe 1st East Med & Southeast Europe Conference in Brussels, organised by the Delphi Economic Forum, will take place at the Egmont Palace Conference Center on Tuesday.

The conference will address some of the key political, economic, and foreign policy challenges that East Med & SouthEast Europe are facing today. Issues ranging from the war in Ukraine to the energy security dilemmas, geopolitical shifts in the Western Balkans, the major infrastructure projects in the area, as well as issues of competition and shipping, will be key topics of the conference.

Following up the successful Washington conference in 2019, the Brussels conference will serve as a platform for dialogue and communication between the leading actors of political, legal and diplomatic developments in the region and is organised in collaboration with the newspaper “Kathimerini”.

Participants will include top officials of the European Commission, high-level European officials and government ministers, as well as a number of prestigious speakers from think tanks, academia and other shapers of public opinion.
