Defence Minister Panos Kammenos assures strong majority support for F-16 deal with US

With the agreement of New Democracy for the deal to upgrade the F-16 fighter jets, Defence Minister Panos Kammenos said that a strong majority is backing the deal.
He also said that when the United States responds to Greece’s Letter of Agreement, the committee will meet to discuss the deal.
Sources from New Democracy and Democratic Coalition (DISY) say that their parties have provided their initial support for the agreement but disagree with the procedures involved.
