The Acropolis Museum will offer a free concert with popular songs to visitors under the full moon at 9.00 p.m. on August 15.
New singers will perform from the repertory of well-known Greek composers and singers, while the museum itself will remain open from 8.00 a.m. to midnight (free entrance from 8.00 p.m. to closing). Featured in the museum currently is a photography exhibition of marble craftsmen who have worked on the Acropolis.
The walk-around excavation will be open as well, with tours in English and Greek. Reservations need to be made in person at the Museum Information Desk.
The tours are free with the purchase of an entrance ticket to the museum (10 euros).
