Migration and Asylum Minister Notis Mitarachi met on Tuesday with the ambassador of Turkey in Athens, Çağatay Erciyes, at the ministry, according to a statement.
“During the meeting, there was an exchange of views on the latest developments in migration that concern both countries,” the announcement stated.
Also, reference was made to the fact that elections are imminent in Greece and Turkey in May, while it was confirmed that it is the right moment for the development of bilateral relations in a spirit of cooperation, the announcement concluded.
