Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Wednesday referred to the double meaning of the finance ministry’s draft bill under discussion in parliament.
Mitsotakis underlined that the regulation for land that has been trespassed upon will benefit thousands of households and businesses that had been in “hostage status” for decades. It solves with transparency and justice a ‘gordian knot’ between the state and citizens.
Mitsotakis underlined that the beneficiaries will be able to legally purchase the plots.
The bill of the finance ministry also includes a series of tax regulations, the prime minister said during his speech in parliament.
“Targeted support for the most vulnerable is a permanent government priority. We understand the citizens’ needs, listen to their problems and always strive for the best,” he stressed.
