Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in his last weekly review before Easter referred to Central Greece’s motorway E65, to the civil protection project AEGIS and to the preparations for the prevention and protection from the wildfires.

He also spoke about the “farmer’s card”, education issues, the economy and the incomes, the start of operation of the contactless payment system in urban transport with a bank card and the filing of an amendment for the emergency funding of the Hellenic Railways Organisation (OSE) to strengthen the level of safety in the country’s railway network.

“We are now counting down to the European elections on June 9”, Mitsotakis pointed out, concluding his overview. “The vote in the European elections should be a vote of responsibility, real progress and democratic vigilance. Abstention is not an answer. Whichever party you support, you ultimately support the Democracy itself with your participation, which from this year becomes easier with the postal voting”, he underlined and wished to all Happy Easter.
