Greece, Cyprus, Egypt, France FMs to have ‘3+1’ meeting in Athens on Friday

Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias, his Cyprus counterpart Nikos Christodoulides, Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian are to hold a quadrilateral meeting in Athens on Friday.

The meeting is to examine developments in the Eastern Mediterranean, the Middle East, Libya, the Gulf, the Sahel and the Cyprus issue.

Cooperation in the energy sector and international challenges such as the pandemic, migration and climate change are also expected to be discussed.

There will be statements to the press after the end of the meeting at approximately 15:30.
