“We are experiencing a multiple crisis that did not emerge today” underlined SYRIZA spokesperson Alexis Charitsis to Kokkino radio on Thursday.

He referred to the health crisis and to the deep and long-term repercussions of the pandemic adding that his party had also sounded the alarm bell over the developments in the Greek-Turkish issues given the Turkish provocativeness.

“We would expect from the government to present a comprehensive plan in order for the Greek society to address with safety this multiple crisis” underlined Charitisis.

The government refuses to see the reality at all levels, he said referring to the islands where “instead of strengthening the health structures they concealed the real number of the coronavirus incidents attempting to create a false picture to the residents and to the visitors”.

The government is doing the same with the Greek-Turkish issues and brought as example the prime minister’s national defence advisor who was forced to resign when he told the truth on the allegedly ‘non-existent’ research of Oruc Reis.
