Gerapetritis: Issues touching on Greek national sovereignty not discussed in dialogue with Turkiye

“Issues touching on Greek national sovereignty are not and could never be discussed in the framework of Greek-Turkish dialogue – this concerns both issues of Greek territory and matters concerning the Muslim minority in Thrace,” Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis stressed on Friday in Parliament.
Gerapetritis was replying to a question submitted by main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance MP Rena Dourou regarding the statements of a Turkish foreign ministry spokesperson concerning the topics discussed during Greek-Turkish dialogue.
“There has never been any issue that is related to matters of Greece’s sovereignty under discussion. Nor will there ever be,” Gerapetritis said.
