Turkey should move in the direction of peaceful co-existence, Alt. Defence Min Rigas says

Alternate Defence Minister, Panagiotis Rigas, on Friday sent a message from the naval base on Salamina to the friend and ally Turkey asking to move in the direction of peaceful co-existence as, as he said, “we need it, our peoples need to live peacefully”.
He also reiterated that the “Greek armed forces are on the peace-loving doctrine and perception, but are also powerful and their interceptive power is our huge advantage. They guarantee the safety and the country’s territorial integrity”, Rigas said, addressing high school students that were selected to become, for a little while, the crew of the frigate Kountouriotis in the context of a series of events organised by the Greek navy.
Addressing the students, Rigas urged them to “remember that the human factor is much more efficient than the best machine, computer or weapon, so you must try to train throughout your carrier in anything you chose to follow in your life”.
