“The burnt Mati attests to Tsipras’ inhumane cynicism”, states New Democracy opposition

“Forty-two days after the national tragedy, Mr.Tsipras returned to the scene of the crime. Not to apologise for the incapacity of his government that led to 98 dead and the desolation of an area. But to hide his responsibilities again as he did that tragic night.

Surrounded by bodyguards, he wanted to wash away his guilt, showing a hypocritical interest in the inhabitants,” ND said in a statement commenting on the prime minister’s visit to Mati.

“Whatever Mr. Tsipras does, he can not change the reality: Mati is and will be the face of his disastrous inadequacy and inhuman cynicism.”
