Air pollution levels in the area of Mati, eastern Attica, that were hit by deadly fires over the summer did not show to be above normal levels, according to the National Observatory of Athens.

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras paid a visit to Mati on Tuesday, where he was informed by local residents about the problems they are facing.
A wildfire burning forest and farm land started on Thursday afternoon in the Vravrona area in eastern Attica.
An 83-year old woman, a victim of the eastern Attica wildfire on July 23, died of extensive burn injuries on Thursday in the intensive care unit of KAT hospital.
The death toll of the victims of the wildfires in Mati continues to increase. A woman with severe burns that was hospitalised in Thriassio hospital died on Saturday.
Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has instructed government ministers to restore the fire hit areas and help all those hurt by adopting quick procedures that will be simple and without bureaucracy, said government spokesman Dimitris Tzanakopoulos on Monday.
There are 25 people officially reported as missing by their families after the deadly fire that swept through eastern Attica and the seaside town of Mati, the fire brigade announced on Sunday.
At least 50 people have lost their lives in wildfires that broke out in eastern Attica while there are fears of even more casualties, as many telephone calls have been made to the Fire Brigade to report missing persons.
