Ferry boat strike is suspended as seamen and ship-owners finally reach a compromise

The Panhellenic Seamen’s Federation (PNO) suspended its strike on Tuesday after a new proposal from ship owners for a 2 pct pay rise in the collective labour agreements for both ferry ship crews and tourist ship crews in 2018.

PNO has been on strike since Monday, after rejecting the ferry ship owners’ proposal for a 2 pct wage increase for seamen for two years.
