The cycle of cuts has closed and the government has now room to increase the available income without threatening fiscal targets, government spokesman Dimitris Tzanakopoulos said on Friday in an interview with ‘Sto Kokkino’ radio station.

“The cycle of fiscal adjustment has closed, the 3.5 percent target for 2018 and 2019 is taken for granted. At the same time, fiscal room is being created that exceeds 750,000,000 euros allowing the government to take relief measures for the society,” he added.
