Putin must lose the bet of terror he is trying to spread in Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Wednesday, speaking at the opening of the 9th Delphi Economic Forum, while asking for the assistance of his country’s partners.

“It is very difficult to face alone the challenges of an unprovoked (from our side) war. We need the help of our partners. It is very difficult to stand up to the enemy and it is even more difficult to take back the already occupied territories, that is why we need unity and the appropriate armament,” the President of Ukraine said.

“Ukraine is not asking too much,” Zelensky emphasized, explaining that what his country needs are air defense systems and the appropriate artillery so that Ukrainian forces can advance and restore normality in the areas occupied by the Russians.

“As soon as we have artillery and concrete political will from our partners, we will break Putin’s backbone,” Zelensky underlined.
He added that the Russians hate everything that is outside their borders and for this reason they must be isolated.
