Defence Min Dendias returns to Greece from New York due to developments in the Middle East

Greek Minister of Defense Nikos Dendias had a telephone communication with his Turkish counterpart Yaşar Güler, on Wednesday.

Dendias in a post on his social media account X, also expressed his wishes for the speedy recovery of the aircraft’s pilot.

“ The Minister of National Defence of Turkey, Yaşar Güler, conveyed at our communication his satisfaction on the positive outcome of the operation regarding the rescue of the HAF F-16 fighter pilot, as well as his warm wishes for him. On my side, I thanked my counterpart for his sincere interest for the Greek pilot” said Dendias.
