Electricity companies announced significantly reduced tariffs starting at 8.1 cents per kilowatt hour for “green” tariffs in March.

The reductions are a consequence of the decline in international prices and the prices set on the Energy Exchange, as well as the competition that developed between companies following the introduction of the special (green) and other tariff categories. Indicatively, the average price of electricity in February was 73.61 euros per megawatt hour from 93.92 euros in January.
In particular, the prices for March as posted on the website of the Regulatory Authority are as follows:

-ELINOIL 8.182 cents per kilowatt hour.

-Elpedison 9.898 cents per kilowatt hour for the first 100 kilowatt hours and 10.76 cents per kilowatt hour for the rest.

-Solar Energy 10.27 cents per kilowatt hour.

-Heron 10.304 cents per kilowatt hour.

-Volton 10.306 cents per kilowatt hour.

-Zenith 10.467 cents per kilowatt hour.

– Protergia 10.776 cents per kilowatt hour.

-PPC 10.826 cents per kilowatt hour up to 500 kilowatt hours and 11.907 thereafter.

-Natural Gas Hellenic Energy Company 11.165 cents per kilowatt hour.

-We Energy 11.23 cents per kilowatt hour.
