Defence Min Dendias returns to Greece from New York due to developments in the Middle East

Defence Minister Nikos Dendias is paying a two-day visit to the United Kingdom starting from Tuesday. Dendias will hold bilateral meetings with ‘shadow’ Defence Minister of the Labour Party John Healey at the House of Commons on Tuesday and with National Security Adviser of the United Kingdom Sir Tim Barrow.

Additionally, Dendias will take part in a series of events for the celebration of Greek Independence Day (25 March 1821) at the Greek Ambassador’s residence in London.

The situation in Gaza and in the wider region, the developments in Ukraine as well as issue of wider security, especially after the recent terror attack in Moscow are expected to be discussed, the ministry said in an annuncement.
