Twelve people to be jailed pending trial for football-related violence

Twelve people will be jailed pending trial for Monday’s football-related violent incidents, an Athens prosecutor ruled on Friday.

These are ten Croatian nationals, a 27-year-old Greek national and a 22-year-old Albanian national.  

Some 105 individuals have so far been arrested for the bloody clashes  in Athens on Monday night, which led to the murder of 29-year-old AEK fan Michalis Katsouris.

A total of 30 people out of 105 who have been arrested were testifying in court on Friday.
