Greek, Israeli Defence ministers reaffirm high level of cooperation during phone call

Newly appointed National Defence Minister Nikos Dendias spoke on the phone with his counterpart of Israel Yoav Gallant on Monday.
In a message on Twitter, Dendias noted that Gallant congratulated him on his assumption of his ministerial office, and invited him to visit Israel at his earliest convenience.
The Greek minister added that they also discussed the strategic relation between the two countries “with regards to the security and stability in the wider region.”
The two ministers reaffirmed that the level of cooperation between their countries’ Armed Forces was “exquisite”, Dendias added.
I had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Defence of Israel @yoavgallant who congratulated me on the assumption of my duties. Mr Gallant invited me to an official visit to Israel and it was agreed that I will conduct said visit as soon as possible.
