“The dilemma of the elections is not only moving forward or back, it is stability or chaos,” Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said on Thursday, addressing the citizens of Kavala.

He accused the main opposition party SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance of being “dizzy from its contradictory statements” and commented that the “Demeter” plan, “could be ridiculous if it were not so dangerous.”

The only way to prevent this scenario was for New Democracy to be strong at the ballot box on May 21, he added.

The prime minister addressed young people in particular and called on them to choose the New Democracy party in the elections on May 21, as it would guarantee better jobs, homes and prospects, and not “those who are ashamed of their past and have nothing to say about the future of young people.”

For the regional unit of Kavala, Mitsotakis spoke of a “wind of growth” and emphasised that more than 25 million euros were recently handed out to the region just in compensation for damages suffered in crops.
