Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis highlighted the ways in which Greece has enhanced its prestige in foreign affairs, in a post on the internet on Holy Thursday attached to a ruling New Democracy video, with the message “A stronger Greece with self-confidence.”

“Greece has today signed agreements that increase its security with France, the United States, Israel, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates. It is ably represented abroad and plays a crucial role in the decisions of the European Union.

It protects its borders. It equips its Armed Forces. It delineates its EEZ. It expands its territorial waters. Steadily, boldly forward.”
