“We unequivocally condemn yesterday’s attack against a vehicle belonging to a member of the diplomatic staff of the Italian Embassy in Athens,” the Greek foreign ministry said in a statement on Friday.

“Unacceptable and reprehensible actions, such as the above, are not going to disturb in any way the excellent relations and the eternal bonds of friendship between Greece and its partner and ally Italy,” it added.
