The airport of the Aegean island of Naxos is to be upgraded so that it can receive direct flight from abroad.

Deputy Development and Investments Minister Ioannis Tsakiris’ signed a decision for including the project, which has a budget of 23.07 million euros, in the Operational Programme “Transport Infrastructure, Environment and Greek Growth 2014-2020” with the Airports Infrastructure Directorate as beneficiary.
