Eight men arrested as suspects for the murder of a 19-year-old youth and the injury of two others in an incident of football hooliganism in the Thessaloniki district of Harilaou were led before an examining magistrate on Monday.
They were given deadlines between Wednesday and Friday to prepare their testimony and then taken back to jail.
According to the warrant which led to their arrest on Sunday, they are charged with multiple counts of acting together to commit murder and attempted murder.
The same examining magistrate will also hear the testimony of the first suspect arrested in connection with the case, a 23-year-old who also faces the same charges, among others.
