Prime Minister Mitsotakis in Paris; to meet with French President Macron

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will have a stopover in Paris returning from New York on Monday. Mitsotakis will visit the French capital for the opening of the exhibition “Paris-Athens: Birth of Modern Greece” at the Louvre Museum.

The exhibition is organized on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the Greek Revolution and aims to highlight the ties that unite Greece and European culture.

The prime minister will be received at the Louvre by French President Emmanuel Macron. The two leaders will inaugurate the exhibition together and then have a working dinner at the Palais des Champs-Elysees.

Mitsotakis and Macron will have the opportunity to discuss a wide range of issues that concern both countries. The discussion will also cover the latest international diplomatic developments.
The prime minister’s schedule is as follows:

At 14:00 (Athens time) the prime minister will meet with the Director-General of UNESCO, Audrey Azoulay, at the headquarters of the organisation.

At 20:00 Kyriakos Mitsotakis and the French President Emmanuel Macron will jointly inaugurate the exhibition Paris – Athènes, Naissance de la Grèce moderne 1675 – 1919 (Paris – Athens, the Birth of modern Greece 1675 – 1919), at the Louvre Museum.

The two leaders will then have a working dinner at the Élysée Palace.
