After a difficult week, followed by a holiday weekend that provides an opportunity for families to relax, SYRIZA has issued a call for 31 rallies throughout Greece, government spokesperson Aristotelia Peloni said on Sunday, terming this ‘hypocrisy’.
The main opposition party “reproaches the government for its handling of the pandemic while undermining society’s defenses against it, subverting the exit from this unprecedented health crisis,” she added.
Peloni asserted that “the majority of people want social peace, security and a return to normality. The main opposition becomes once again part of the problem, not the solution, and proves that when you don’t know what to do, you fall back on what you know how to do well.”
