Over 320 kg of pure cocaine seized in Thessaloniki; three arrested leading international ring

Thessaloniki police on Saturday seized over 320 kg of pure cocaine and arrested three persons alleged to be leading an international drug dealing ring.
According to sources, the expected profits of the specific quantity of cocaine would exceed 100 million euros.
The three arrested are two foreign nationals aged 37 and 36 of Albanian and Croatian nationality and a 35-year-old Greek while a fourth person, also Croatian, who is also an important member of the ring is still at large.
The three suspects were caught in the act during a between them transaction at a coordinated police operation on Friday afternoon.
In the search that followed in two vehicles and one of the suspects’ apartment were revealed and confiscated 324 kilos of pure cocaine divided in 260 packages, 5,265 euros cash, five mobile phones and a laptop.
The arrested will be sent to the prosecutor.
