All scheduled routes of the legendary “Moutzouris” train in Pelion will resume on June 8-9, according to a TRAINOSE announcement.

• The train did not carry out scheduled services on May 25 -26 and on June 1-2 because of a lack of drivers, it said.

TRAINOSE said that it made efforts to eliminate the problem until the last minute but this was not possible and “apologised to the visitors for any inconvenience caused by the temporary shutdown.”

“It goes without saying that passengers who had already bought tickets to travel on this train were compensated or will be compensated by TRAINOSE ticket offices in Volos,” it added.
