Ferry services gradually returning to normal as winds are expected to subside in the evening




Ferry services on Friday are gradually returning to normal as, according to the National Meteorological Service, winds are expected to subside in the evening.

The ferries “Mykonos Palace”, “Nissos Rodos” and Blue Star Delos” will depart from Piraeus port as normal while the ferry service between the port of Rafina and the island of Andros is also running normally. Ferry departures from the port of Lavrio will resume after 15:00 on Friday afternoon.

The ferry lines from Aghia Marina-Nea Styra, Arkitsa-Edipsos and Kavala-Prinos are still closed.

Passengers intending to travel by ship on Friday should contact their travel agent or port authorities before departure.
