The Prespes Agreement between Greece and FYROM over the name issue is beneficial for all, for Greece, for FYROM and for Europe, German Ambassador to Greece Jens Ploetner told the Athens-Macedonian News Agency on the occasion of the 28th anniversary of the unification of Germany.

He also noted that the German government welcomes the fact that the governments in Athens and Skopje remain faithful to the specific agreement and are trying to implement it.

Ploetner pointed out that all the pro-European forces should work together and more intensly to bolster Europe, and he described the upcoming visit of German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier to Greece a “message of frienship between Greece and Germany” and “a message of support to Europe”.
