“For the legacy of our ancestors and our future, we must be united” says president Prokopis Pavlopoulos

Greek President Prokopios Pavlopoulos on Friday stressed the importance of unity during the ceremony for the award of the Gold Medal of the Municipality of Therma.

“The Greeks – I will repeat it once again – are not only descendants of Great Ancestors. On the contrary, we must further enhance this important legacy,” he underlined.

Pavlopoulos also referred to social justice, which he described as “a steady support, on which, especially in today’s critical times that our country and our people are being tested by the deep economic and social crisis, we can and must support the building of social cohesion. And so, in the future, we will fulfill our national debt, which is the defence of the history and prospect of our people and our nation and guarantee the next generations the future they deserve.”
