Justice minister Kontonis orders investigation about Aristidis Floros’ early release from prison

Justice Minister Stavros Kontonis on Tuesday ordered Greek prosecuting authorities to launch an urgent investigation into the circumstances that led to the release of convicted inmate Aristidis Floros from prison, where he was serving 21 years for the Energa-Hellas Power embezzlement case.
A justice ministry announcement said that the investigation will focus on finding possible criminal actions on the part of the agencies that issued a disability certificate for Floros, thereby ensuring his release.
