Opposition leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis meets with deputy US Secretary of State

New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis met on Friday with Kathleen Kavalec, US State Department deputy assistant secretary for European and Eurasian affairs, following an American initiative.
Kavalec and the main opposition leader discussed issues of regional collaboration and security, including threats posed by cybercrime and international terrorists.
US Ambassador to Greece Geoffrey Pyatt, who accompanied the State Dept. official, briefed Mitsotakis about preparations of the American delegation to the Thessaloniki International Fair, where the United States is the honored country this year.
