Remaining prior actions to pass in single bill by June 14, Nikos Voutsis says

Legislation on all the prior actions needed to conclude the fourth review of the Greek programme will be passed by June 14, ahead of the June 21 Eurogroup, in a single draft bill using fast-track procedures, Parliament President Nikos Voutsis announced on Tuesday.

He said the decision was reached by the conference of parliament presidents, while he also denied rumours that legislation on major issues, such as the agreement on the name dispute with FYROM or a new local government reform plan, will be voted on during the summer sessions of parliament, which have a smaller number of MPs.

Voutsis noted that anything on which there is a provision in the constitution will be voted on in full plenary sessions, either before the winter sessions end on July 15 or after they resume in early October.
“The summer sessions will operate as normal until September 30, [with a changeover] every 20 days,” he said.
