President Pavlopoulos will declare the opening of the 3rd Delphi Economic Forum of Delphi




Greek President Prokopios Pavlopoulos will declare the opening of the 3rd Delphi Economic Forum of Delphi, with an inaugural address at 19:15 at the Cultural Centre of Delphi.

The proceedings will last until Sunday, March 4, with the participation of more than 1,000 delegates and 400 speakers from all over the world and an analysis of about 60 topics relating to the long-term strategy of Greece and the wider region, as well as on achieving sustainable and socially equitable growth.

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will address the forum on Friday at 21:00 and main opposition New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Thursday at 20:30.

Speakers include: NATO Deputy Secretary General Rose Gottemoeller, Bulgaria’s Prime Minister and President-in-Office of the EU Boyko Borisov, European Commissioners Dimitris Avramopoulos and Christos Stylianidis, European Commission spokesman Margaritis Schinas, Deputy Prime Minister and Economy and Development Minister Yiannis Dragasakis, President of the European Investment Bank Werner Hoyer, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the European Central Bank Dani?le Nouy, European Commission Head of Mission in Greece Declan Costello, European Stability Mechanism chief Klaus Regling, Democratic Coalition leader Fofi Gennimata, Potami leader Stavros Theodorakis, Centrists Union leader Vassilis Leventis, former prime ministers Giorgos Papandreou and Costas Simitis and a series of ministers, analysts and academics.
