Tax revenues in the first seven months of 2023 exceeded budget

The Greek state budget will show a primary surplus of more than 3.5 pct of GDP in this year, from 3.3 pct in 2017, as the country continues its positive fiscal performance in 2018, the Hellenic Fiscal Council said in a report released on Monday.
Greek budget showed a primary surplus of 4.339 billion euros in the January-November period compared to a surplus of 3.566 billion euros in the same period last year, and with a revised target of 2.652 billion, Finance ministry data showed.
