Defence Min Dendias returns to Greece from New York due to developments in the Middle East

Defense Minister Nikos Dendias met with his Ukrainian counterpart Rustem Umerov as part of the meeting of the defense contact group in Ukraine.

As he wrote on his personal account in ‘X’, ‘We talked about Greece’s defense support for safeguarding Ukrainian sovereignty and territorial integrity.’

Additionally, Dendias informed in a new post that he had a ‘cordial discussion’ with his French counterpart Sébastien Lecornu.

The meeting organized at the initiative of US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin in Ramstein, Germany, was also attended by the Chief of the Hellenic National Defense General Staff (GEETHA) General Dimitrios Choupis.”
