FM Gerapetritis: Greece a credible interlocutor of all international and regional players

Greece, thanks to the adoption of a foreign policy of principles and values, has gained significant international capital which it is already using at international fora, as it is also a credible interlocutor of all international and regional players, Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis said as he arrived at the EU Foreign Ministers Council in Brussels on Monday.
Additionally, Gerapetritis said that he had an extended discussion with the Foreign Minister of Armenia, with whom he will meet later in the day. He underlined that he intends to visit Armenia in the near future, while on the sidelines of Monday’s Council, he will meet with his Azeri counterpart.
He also noted, however, that the messages from the other fronts, namely from Ukraine, the Middle East and sub-Saharan Africa – where there must be more intensive efforts for sustainable peace – are not encouraging.
