The vote on the amendment for checking that parties meet the conditions for participation in the elections is being held on Tuesday in the Parliament.

The political leaders are expected to speak in the parliament plenary. During the discussion of the bill on Monday, New Democracy and opposition PASOK-KINAL said that they were in favour of the amendment. Main opposition SYRIZA stated that it will abstain from the vote, while the opposition parties KKE, Hellenic Solution and MeRA25 said that they do not agree with the regulation, each for different reasons.
