PM Mitsotakis: We are moving toward a better tourism period compared with 2019

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis sent a message on Greece’s positive performance in tourism from the island of Kefalonia who is visiting on Tuesday.

In statements from the Ionian island he stated “I was informed that today we have exceeded the number of tourist arrivals at Fraport airports in comparison with 2019. So, we are moving toward a better tourism period than 2019” he said.

Mitsotakis visited the hospital of Kefalonia and talked with the employees “We have assumed specific comittments for the staff that will come to the hospital and for the operation, at last, of the Intensive Care Unit.

Currently, Mitsotakis is chairing a meeting with the mayors of Kefalonia and Ithaki.
