Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias was cordially received by Montenegro’s Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic while visiting Podgorica on Tuesday, the foreign ministry posted on Twitter.
The meeting focused on bilateral relations, and in particular the economy, investment, energy and connectivity, while Montenegro’s EU perspective was also discussed, the tweet said.
Earlier, Dendias also met Montenegro’s Foreign Minister Ranko Krivokapić for talks on deepening cooperation, enlargement to the Western Balkans, the upcoming SEECP Summit in Thessaloniki, and regional developments, including the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
