President of Montenegro to pay official visit to Greece on Tuesday

President Sakellaropoulou to DEF IX: Greece participates equally in the European, regional and international developments

The President of Montenegro, Milo Djukanovic, is to pay an official visit to Greece on Tuesday and Wednesday, at the invitation of President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou.

The Greek president will receive President Djukanovic on Tuesday morning and he is then to meet with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis at the Maximos Mansion.
President Djukanovic’s full programme is as follows:

Tuesday 8 February
At 10:30, he will lay a wreath at the Monument of the Unknown Soldier
At 10:45, official reception ceremony at the Presidential Mansion, followed by a meeting with President Sakellaropoulou at 10:55. Extended discussions between the delegations of the two countries will follow.
At noon, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will receive Montenegro’s president at the Maximos Mansion.
At 13:05, President Djukanovic will meet with the president of the Hellenic parliament Konstantinos Tasoulas.
An official dinner in honour of the President of Montenegro will be hosted at 20:00 at the Presidential Mansion.

Wednesday, 9 February
At 11:00, the President of Montenegro will lay a wreath at the grave of General Vaso Brajovic Mavrοvouniotis.
At 11:30, Djukanovic will conclude his visit to Athens by meeting with Athens Mayor Kostas Bakoyannis.
