Kikilias on lifting test requirement: Greece sends strong security message to its visitors

The health ministry’s decision to remove the requirement to test for travellers to Greece with a valid European Covid certificate is a step to enhancing tourist flows to the country, Tourism Minister Vassilis Kikilias said on Friday.
The decision follows a series of measures that make it easier for potential visitors to plan their trip to Greece.
In this regard, Kikilias said:
“Our country is preparing this year to welcome the visitors of the summer season from March 1, earlier than in any other year. Greek tourism has shown remarkable resilience in the past two years, sending a strong message of safety to travellers in our country and it will do the same this year.”
