“Safety is a prerequisite for tourism to go well in 2022,” Tourism Minister Vassilis Kikilias said in an interview with the newspaper ‘Proto Thema’ adding that “the message of safety and trust that Greece sent last summer through the observation of the health protocols, the support of the tourist sector from the Greek government and the excellent cooperation of all the tourist agencies brought the best results for the tourist product.
“We saw results because we had rules on how and when and in which way we will open the country. As a Health Minister I was responsible for this procedure last summer and I am well aware that it constitutes a prerequisite to go well in 2022”.
