Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias will meet with US Senators Chris Murphy and Jon Ossoff on Monday, September 6, at 11 a.m., according to a foreign ministry announcement.

The discussion is expected to focus on the further strengthening of the Greece-US strategic relationship, in the light of the recent visit of Chairman of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee Robert Menendez to Athens, as well as on the forthcoming visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs to Washington, possibly in October.

A thorough discussion on developments in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East is also expected to take place, in the light of the recent visits of these two Senators to countries in the region.
