EU approves additional 100 million euros to support public health system in Greece

The European Commission, after a proposal by Development and Investments ministry, approved an additional 100 million euros for Greece in the business program “Reforming the Public Sector 2014-2020”.

These new capital will be used to enhance the public health system of the country and facilitate citizens’ access to the system.

More specifically, the funds will be channeled to support a mobile health unit network to relief state hospitals from the pandemic, improving services for chronic patients and support mental and body health of health workers.
