EUCO President Michel stresses complete solidarity with Greece, Cyprus in phone call with Erdogan

European Council President Charles Michel has spoken with Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the telephone, a European official in Brussels revealed on Sunday.
He said that Michel emphasised the European Union’s complete solidarity with Greece and Cyprus.
According to the same official, Michel stressed the importance of a de-escalation and urged Turkey to avoid activities that increase tension.
He also made a call for a multilateral conference, noting that the present disputes can be resolved through dialogue.
