Gerapetritis: The entire diplomatic world supports the Greek positions

The entire diplomatic world has aligned with the Greek positions and calls on Turkey to withdraw its research vessel and auxiliaries, said State Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis in an interview with SKAI radio on Friday.
He said that the diplomatic community wants both sides (Turkey and Greece) to discuss in order stability to return in the region adding what the Greek part has in the back of its mind is real, essential and beneficial discussion with Turkey that would be able to bear fruit.
Referring to Friday’s extraordinary EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting, he said that Greece expects from EU to fully support the Greek positions adding that it is an informal EU Foreign Ministers Council meeting “so it is not responsible to impose very serious sanctions but, it is still the expression of the EU diplomacy”.
