Ten EU countries expressed interest in relocating unaccompanied minors from Greece

Ten European countries have so far expressed interest in relocating unaccompanied minors from Greece, with the first transfer involving eleven children in Luxembourg over the next two weeks.
In addition to Luxembourg, Germany has shown interest in relocating 350 children, France 300 children, Bulgaria 50, Ireland 36 and Lithuania two.

Finland has announced that it will relocate 175 children from Greece, Cyprus, Italy and Malta, without, however, specifying the exact number it will receive from each country. Croatia, Portugal and Belgium have also stated their intention to take unaccompanied children into their countries, but have not stated a specific number.
